Stonecross Mansion, Ulverston, South Lakes

About Project

Stone Cross Mansion is a historic, listed building nestled in the market town of Ulverston, on the edge of the Lake District.

Originally constructed in 1874 as the home of wealthy industrialist, Myles Kennedy and his large family, the building had fallen into disrepair before undergoing a major refurbishment between 2016-21. After this time, the building was sold to the current owners, who complemented the original refurbishment by transforming the building into stunning two and three bedroomed luxury holiday-let apartments.

“From the very first meeting, Mirmac demonstrated great knowledge and expertise in helping us make the right choices for our interiors. In particular, Ian and Rob were brilliant – it really was all about them. Aside from the occasional intervention from a forgettable, bespectacled, pot-bellied imp, the rest of the service was first-class.”
