Silverchip, Amazon House, Manchester

About Project

Silverchip, now part of CTI Digital, relocated into Amazon House, a Grade II listed canalside building in the heart of The Village. A beautiful character building, with an abundance of original features, the 4th floor space had sandblasted brickwork, exposed beams and vaulted ceilings. There was even a full-height Manchester themed mural from acclaimed local artist, David Gee, which was inherited by the client.

The client appointed Stephanie Dodd, of Stephanie Wilde Interiors, who produced a bold design, infused influences from high-end hospitality into a functional workplace, whilst harnessing the natural characteristics of the building.

We project managed and delivered the fit-out, bringing Stephanie’s vision for Silverchip to life. We manufactured a feature bar, media walls, fixed seating and fabricated planters with mesh frames and weathered steel ceiling features with hanging plants. Walls were painted in a flat black matt, along with the vaulted ceilings, to create a dramatic, but striking effect.

“We were very open to ideas and placed our faith in Stephanie to create a social-focused space to drive collaboration and productivity. Stephanie recommended Mirmac to us and they collaborated closely to produce an amazing space that truly reflects Silverchip. The quality of the installation and fit-out from Mirmac has been first-class.”
